Letter to a Future Year 6 Student

You are to write a letter to a future Year 6 student at your school in 2059 to coincide with the 200th anniversary of Queensland becoming a state. Your letter will be sealed and preserved in a time capsule, ready to be handed to a student in that class. Choose three topics that allow you to provide meaningful information and that convey a sense of the historical context in which the letter is written. Consider what a student in 2059 might find interesting.
