Introduction:
In recent years, there’s been much discussion about athletes using special drugs to boost their performance. It’s a contentious topic that brings up questions about what’s fair, what’s right, and how it affects the spirit of competition. 

Read the following three sources (including introductory information) carefully. Then, in an essay that synthesizes all three of the sources for support, take a position that defends or challenges the claim that professional athletes should be allowed to use performance-enhancing drugs.
