Write an essay about the Rwandan Genocide of 1994, focusing on what different groups could have done to stop it from happening. Look at the parts played by the leaders of Rwanda, the Hutu people, the Tutsi people, the United Nations, countries from the West, and nations close to Rwanda. Choose at least two groups and discuss what they did or didn't do that made the situation worse. Then, suggest what each group could have done differently to prevent the violence and killing.
