Cranach Woodcut and Criticism of the Church (practice with Evidence use)

Imagine that you have been given this document to use as evidence in a DBQ. In this activity, I am going to give you the claim statement for an essay question that asks "To what extent was the printing press important  in forwarding the ideas of the Reformation."  Your claim is  "The printing press was crucial in getting the message of the Reformation to illiterate Christians through woodcuts that criticized the Church." 
In the image on the left, Jesus is seen washing the feet of his disciples (his followers). In the image on the right, the Pope sits on his throne and forces those who come to him to kiss his feet.
